Most portfolios were built one holding at a time.
Towemer Wealth is a full service private wealth practice in Sydney. We specialise in high interest cash accounts, term deposits, corporate and government bonds and managed funds, and your account also gives you access to shares, exchange traded funds and new listings across the market. One adviser looks after all of it, and confirms every placement with you in writing.
What we do
Your whole portfolio, looked after by one adviser.
Most people build their savings and investments over many years: money in the bank, a term deposit, shares from work, a fund someone recommended. We look at everything you own together, so each new investment fits with the rest, with when you will need the money, and with the income you want from it.
Then your adviser arranges it for you, in one account. You make the decisions, and we take care of the rest.

Advice on everything you own
Your adviser looks at your whole position, not just the next investment, so each decision fits with what you already hold and with what the money is for.
-
02
Advice in writing
Every recommendation comes to you in writing, with the reasons behind it, so you can read it in your own time and come back to it whenever you like.
-
03
Every placement confirmed in writing
Before any money moves, your adviser confirms the investment, the amount, the rate or price and the settlement date with you in writing. Nothing is placed until you agree.
-
04
Every rate clearly labelled
Whether it is a fixed rate on a term deposit or a bond, a variable rate on a cash account, or a fund's past performance, we label it clearly every time, so you can compare like with like.

One adviser, one account
One person who knows your whole position, instead of a bank for your deposits, a broker for your shares and bonds and a platform for your funds. Everything sits in one Towemer account, with one login and one statement, and your adviser takes care of every application.
What you can invest in
From cash to shares, in one account.
These are the investments we arrange most often. Your account also gives you access to the wider market, and your adviser can talk you through any of it.
| Investment | What it is | What it pays | Getting your money | Government guarantee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High interest cash account | A bank account that earns interest, with your money available any day. | A variable rate, often with a bonus rate for meeting simple monthly conditions. | Any day. | Yes, under the Financial Claims Scheme, up to $250,000 per account holder, per authorised deposit taking institution. |
| Term deposit | Money invested for a fixed term, from one month to a few years. | A fixed rate for the whole term, so you know your interest from the start. | On the maturity date, with your interest. Early access is usually possible with notice, at a lower rate. | Yes, on the same terms as a cash account, within the same limit at each bank. |
| Bond | A loan to a government or a company that pays you regular interest. | Interest, called a coupon, on set dates, usually at a fixed rate. | The face value on the maturity date, or the market price if you sell sooner. | No. Optional capital protection is available on specified bonds. |
| Managed fund | Units in a pool of investments run by a professional manager. | Distributions that vary, and a unit price that moves with the market. | A fund quoted on the ASX can be sold on any trading day, at the market price. | No. The value of units can rise and fall. |
| Shares and exchange traded funds | Shares in listed companies, and funds that trade on the exchange like a share. | Any dividends or distributions paid, and a price that moves every trading day. | Sold on the exchange on any trading day, at the market price. | No. Prices can rise and fall. |
| New listing | Shares in a company joining the stock exchange, bought at the offer price. | Any dividends the company pays, and a share price that moves from the first day of trading. | Sold on the exchange once trading opens, at the price on the day. | No. Share prices can rise and fall, and you could lose some or all of what you invest. |
Rates and coupons are set by the bank or the issuer and are shown before tax. They are not a forecast of returns. Your adviser will help you choose what suits you.
Timing
Choose by when you need the money.
When you will need your money is the simplest way to narrow the choice. Pick a timeframe to see what usually fits.
When do you need the money?
A high interest cash account
Earns interest on your money while keeping it available any day. Many accounts pay a bonus rate in months when you meet simple conditions, such as a regular deposit, and your adviser will help you find one that suits how you use your money.
Covered by the Financial Claims Scheme up to $250,000 per account holder, per authorised deposit taking institution. For larger amounts, your adviser can spread your money across banks.
General information only, not a recommendation. Rates and coupons are set by the bank or the issuer and are not a forecast of returns.
Listings
Take part in new listings.
When a company lists on the stock exchange, its shares are first offered at a set price, before trading begins. When Towemer has a place in an offer, it appears in your account under Offerings, with the prospectus and everything you need to decide, and your adviser arranges your application.
